My sister wanted to travel to India (and quite especially, to Varanasi) since she was very young. She was (just as I am) very aware that our Roma ancestors came from India one day, some ten centuries ago. She wished to go there but had not time enough.
I share this beautiful and instructive post for her sake, because she probably would have done it had she seen it today. I was caught by the caption as well, because to pray for freedom and to wait death are some of my favourite tasks these days, so dark.
